One of ICCR's oldest regional offices, the Mumbai office has been promoting India's cultural diplomacy in Maharashtra for over seven decades through international partnerships and cultural outreach.

The Regional Office supports the welfare of international students studying under ICCR scholarship programmes while encouraging educational cooperation with institutions across Maharashtra.

The office coordinates cultural performances by visiting foreign delegations, outgoing Indian cultural groups, distinguished visitors, exhibitions, seminars, and works closely with the Government of Maharashtra and local cultural institutions.
