Indian Council for Cultural Relations

Regional Office

Bengaluru, Karnataka, India
Established in 1975, the Regional Office in Bengaluru implements the vision and mission of the Indian Council for Cultural Relations (ICCR) across Karnataka by promoting cultural exchange, supporting artists, and strengthening international cultural engagement.
Friday Cultural Programme (EFCEP)
Every Friday evening, the office organizes the Evening Fine Cultural Entertainment Programme (EFCEP) in collaboration with the Government of Karnataka and partner organizations. Running successfully for more than three decades, the programme provides a platform for young and emerging artists to showcase their talent.
Horizon Series
On the second Saturday of every month, ICCR collaborates with Bharatiya Vidya Bhavan, the National Gallery of Modern Art, and other institutions to present performances by senior empanelled artists. These programmes help assess artists for participation in international festivals and cultural exchange initiatives.
Scholarships & Cultural Outreach
The office administers Government of India scholarships for international students studying in Karnataka. More than 650 scholarship holders benefit annually while the office also promotes cultural events, academic engagement, and international goodwill through regular programmes and digital outreach.
