A career diplomat, Mrs. K. Nandini Singla joined the Indian Foreign Service in 1997. She holds a Master’s degree in Political Science and International Relations from Bombay University and an M.Phil. in Diplomatic Studies from Jawaharlal Nehru University, New Delhi. Hailing from Karnataka, she speaks Kannada, Hindi, English, and French. Mrs. K. Nandini Singla assumed the role of Director General, Indian Council for Cultural Relations on 21st November 2024. Earlier, she served as High Commissioner of India to Mauritius from December 2020 to November 2024. Before this, she was Ambassador of India to Portugal from July 2016 to November 2020.
