The Regional Office in Jammu was inaugurated by Dr. Karan Singh, President, ICCR and Member of Parliament, Rajya Sabha on 25th May, 2012, to represent the ICCR locally in the region. The Regional Office coordinates the Council’s activities in its area with regard to cultural performances by visiting foreign troupes, outgoing cultural delegations from the region, distinguished visitors, exhibition and seminar. It coordinates closely with local cultural and educational organizations and the State Government of J & K for carrying out ICCR’s mandate of activities. The Jammu Regional Office supports the activities of different local Cultural organizations. Every month, Jammu Office also organizes the Horizon Series Programmes by the local and empanelled artists of ICCR.
