ICCR'S ART RESIDENCY VISITORS PROGRAMME (ARVP)

Invitee

Professional artists/Art professionals/Managers working with museums/ outstanding performing Art gurus etc. recommended by Indian Mission and duly approved by the Competent Authority of ICCR.

Duration

Up to 15 days in India.

International Airfare

Economy class return international air fare for all visitors under ICCR's Art Residency Visitors Programme (ARVP).

Domestic Airfare

Train/Bus/Air transport etc for domestic travel under ICCR's Art Residency Visitors Programme (ARVP), depending on feasibility, as decided by ICCR.

Accommodation

Cost of accommodation during the Art Residency will be borne by collaborating art centre/ institution and not by ICCR.

Local Sightseeing

1-2 days of local sightseeing and hospitality may be arranged by ICCR along with 2 days of lodging and boarding at Three/Four Star hotel.

Dinner Reception

No dinner reception in a routine manner will be organized for visitors under ICCR's Art Residency Visitors Programme (ARVP).

Programme

The purpose of the ‘ICCR’s Art Residency visitors programme" (ARVP), is to invite eminent artists from abroad and introduce them to Indian culture, Art form and encourage them to familiarize themselves with India and its art landscape, networking with relevant artists, curators and art professionals in India and strengthen people to people contact. Before proposing an ARVP visit, the Mission should send the artists’ detailed profile and their interest in collaboration with Indian artists. ICCR would then identify a suitable art centre/institution for the artist(s) for such collaboration. The artist(s) would then spend considerable time at the residence provided at the centre or institution.

Before Departing from India, the invited artist(s) will present one artwork to ICCR created by the artist(s) during their Art Residency, collaborate with other Indian artists and create one joint art programme/exhibition etc. They will also share their experiences about spending time under the Art Residency Programme(ARVP) of ICCR.

ICCR may also consider organizing a joint exhibition at the end of the Art Residency.

Daily Allowance & Transport Allowance (DA&TA)

Daily Allowance & Transport Allowance will be provided to the visiting artist(s) on case to case basis.

Liaison Officer

Liaison Officer will not be deputed with Visitors under Art Residency. The receiving institute will provide necessary assistance.

Feedback Form

Mandatory for Mission to get duly filled up "Feedback Form" from visitor as per enclosure within 10 days after concluding the visit and send it back to ICCR.
