Incoming Troupes
Since the inception of ICCR, the Incoming Cultural Delegations work has been its integral part and pertains to the promotion of foreign cultural presentations in the country both within the ambit of India's Cultural Exchange Programmes with different countries and outside it.
Cultural Troupes from Abroad
The visiting cultural groups that are hosted by the Council are, for the most part, covered under the respective CEP and is on the basis of reciprocity. In order to meet its primary mandate to create international understanding through culture, the Council showcases performances by foreign cultural troupes so that the people of India get to see and appreciate cultures from across the globe. During the past six decades, the ICCR has organized thousands of cultural events, including cultural weeks and Festivals dedicated to a specific country, region or even a continent.
