The Nehru Centre at 8, South Audley Street, London, W1K 1HF is the cultural centre of Indian Council for Cultural Relations (ICCR).
The Centre promotes bilateral cultural/academic linkages between India and UK The Centre is the cultural outreach of The High Commission of India in UK. It is among the most active of India’s cultural centres abroad and has, over the years, emerged as a premier institution engaged in India’s cultural interface with U.K.
The Centre organises a wide range of cultural programmes, showcasing Indian music, dance and theatre, besides a range of activities aimed at strengthening and deepening the intellectual dialogue between the two countries, such as exhibitions, lectures, illustrated talks, book launches, film screenings, seminars and round tables.
The Centre serves as a platform for Indian culture in the broadest sense, focussing on the role played both by British and Indian artists & scholars in promoting greater cultural understanding.
It has launched several books, by both Indian and British authors and promoted the participation of British authors in Indian literary festivals.
The centre also promotes culture of India as well as ethos of other countries that cares about the development of human society and helpful to carry forward the legacy of culture which is the soft power tool to connect to each other, irrespective to religion, caste, creed, social, economic and political boundaries.

The Centre has an Art Gallery and an Auditorium with 110 people seating capacity.
