Indian Cultural Centre, Kuala Lumpur
The Indian Cultural Centre in Kuala Lumpur was formally inaugurated on 10th February 2010 by Dr. Karan Singh, the President of ICCR, and the Malaysian Human Resources Minister, Dr. S. Subramaniam, who is also the Vice-President of the Malaysian Indian Congress (MIC).
The Centre is located in Cap Square Signature Office Building and has a well stocked Library and Resource Centre, a Tourism Kiosk and an Education Help Desk which informs students of educational opportunities in India and the various scholarships offered by the Indian government to Malaysian students.
The Council has deputed a Director and four teachers in the streams of Tabla, Yoga, Carnatic Music, and Kathak from India to the Centre.
