ICCR Regional Office in Guwahati, Assam
ICCR’s Regional Office in Guwahati was inaugurated by the Hon’ble Chief Minister of Assam on 24 August 2009. It is located in one of the pavilions of the Shilpgram Complex, which has eight other pavilions for the States of the Northeast as well as exhibition halls, a large auditorium, sales counters, food stalls, etc. As it is situated in this cultural hub, a large numbers of artists and other visitors come to this Regional Office every day.
The Guwahati Regional Office supports the activities of different local cultural organizations. Every month the Guwahati office also organizes the Horizon Series programmes by the empanelled artists of ICCR. It also looks after the foreign scholarship students studying in Assam as well as foreign self-financed students.
